By accessing or using TofuKit ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

TofuKit is a free anti-shadowban toolkit for content creators that includes: video downloading without watermark, metadata cleaning, video mirroring, compression, audio extraction, thumbnail extraction, GIF creation, volume boosting, and WhatsApp link generation.

2.1 Local Processing & Non-Hosting Declaration

Most tools process files LOCALLY in your browser. For the video downloader, we do NOT host, store, cache, or distribute any video content on our servers. Our Service operates as follows:

  • Local Tools (Metadata, Mirror, Compress, MP3, GIF, Thumbnail, Volume): Files are processed entirely in your browser using FFmpeg.wasm. Your files never leave your device.
  • Video Downloader: Receives video URLs from users and redirects them to download content directly from the original platform servers
  • WhatsApp Link: Generates links locally without sending any data to our servers

All videos remain on their respective platform servers. For local tools, your files never touch our servers. We simply provide technical tools for content creators.

3. User Responsibilities

You are solely and entirely responsible for your use of this Service. By using our Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

3.1 Copyright Compliance

  • You will only download or edit content that you have the legal right to access and use
  • You will respect the intellectual property rights of content creators and copyright holders
  • You will not use downloaded or edited content for commercial purposes without proper authorization from the copyright owner
  • You understand that downloading or modifying copyrighted material without permission may violate copyright laws in your jurisdiction

3.2 Permitted Use

This Service is intended for:

  • Personal use: Editing and downloading videos for your own private viewing or personal content creation
  • Educational purposes: Using content for learning, research, or academic projects (with proper attribution)
  • Fair use: Uses that qualify as fair use under applicable copyright law

3.3 Prohibited Use

You may NOT use this Service to:

  • Download or edit content you do not have the right to access
  • Redistribute or sell downloaded content commercially without authorization
  • Claim ownership of content created by others
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of content creators
  • Download or edit content for malicious purposes

All content downloaded or edited through our Service remains the intellectual property of its respective owners. We do not claim any ownership over third-party content. Our Service merely provides technical tools for content creators to use at their own discretion and responsibility.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
  • Service interruption or computer damage
  • Any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to your data or transmissions
  • Any legal consequences arising from your download, editing, or use of content

You expressly understand and agree that you use this Service at your sole risk.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TofuKit, its operators, affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Any content you download or edit through the Service

8. Third-Party Platforms

Our Service interacts with third-party platforms and uses open-source technology (FFmpeg.wasm). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these platforms. The use of platform names is solely for descriptive purposes. Each platform has its own terms of service that may govern the content hosted on their servers.

9. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
